A father-of-two said he arrived more than 13 hours early for his flight at Manchester Airport in fear of getting caught up in queuing "madness".
Tim Samunyai, from Coventry, arrived at the airport at around 5.40am for his 6.55pm flight to Zimbabwe yesterday.
The 56-year-old says he came so early because of the recent reports of chaos which caused him to "panic".
