The summer holidays are just around the corner, and if you're dreaming of white-sand beaches and stunning ocean views, you're not alone.
Millions of families will head abroad for a break as the school year ends this July. The average holidaymaker is set to spend almost £700 more on going abroad this summer than last year, research has found.
Personal finance comparison site Finder said two thirds of Brits will go abroad despite the cost-of-living crisis, up from 53% last year, while holiday spending by Brits abroad is returning to pre-pandemic levels.

Most people's holiday starts at the airport, with the stress of planning, prepping and packing out the way. One way to really kick off your break is by booking into an airport lounge.
Manchester Airport has two lounges that passengers can book into: the Escape Lounge, found in terminals one, two and three, and the 1903 Lounge in terminal two. Both offer a quieter space away from the hustle and bustle of the airport, along with a selection of food and drinks.
Here's a look at what's included at each lounge and how much they cost.
Escape Lounge - from £31.99 per person
The Escape Lounge offers a selection of freshly prepared food, both hot and cold. There are breakfast and lunch buffets on offer as well as snacks, from pastries and sandwiches to pasta and curry.
Your ticket to the lounge includes a selection of wines, beers and spirits, unlimited hot and soft drinks and complimentary Wi-Fi. Flight information screens and mobile charging points are also available.

This lounge features floor-to-ceiling runway views to enjoy as you sip on handpicked wine, champagne or craft beers. A premium drinks selection is also included in the price.
