A man with a year left on his passport was blocked from boarding a Ryanair flight due to a little known rule.
Ian Glover was refused entry to a flight to Faro, Portugal, even though he still had a year left before his passport expired, Derbyshire Live reports.
He reckons the restrictions of passport validity should be made simpler to prevent confusion for thousands of travellers in summer.
