A man has won a 22-year-long legal battle over the financial sum of 21p after he was left short-changed on a train in 1999.
Indian lawyer Tungnath Chaturvedi was finally refunded the tiny sum and given two decades worth of interest, meaning he was eventually awarded an initial £2.90.
Currently at 12 per cent, the interest will go up to 15 per cent if it is not paid in time, the consumer court responsible for the case ruled.
