Man who confessed to Islington rape wants to change his plea

A MAN who pleaded guilty to raping a woman in a random attack at Islington is applying to the Newcastle District Court to change his plea.

David John Greentree, 49, of Windale, pleaded guilty to sexual intercourse without consent in December after the DPP withdrew a more serious charge.
