A man described the moment he woke up to two detectives at his hospital bed after being attacked during a night out in Liverpool.

Cameron Tunstall, from Woodchurch, Wirral had been out for a meal with his friends at Pattersons on Gradwell Street in the city centre on Friday, May 5. Following their meal, the 22-year-old and his friends went to various bars and clubs including the Red Lion, Electrick Warehouse and then Teddy's.

But Cameron's night ended in him being rushed to hospital with two bleeds on the brain. He said the last thing he can remember is being in a bar with his friends before waking up in a hospital bed with two police detectives talking to him.
