Police are investigating a potential robbery in Armley this morning after a man was found seriously injured in the early hours.
Officers were called to Stanley View at 5.32am today, April 29 to reports of an injured man in the streets. He was rushed to hospital for treatment but his injuries, while serious, are not considered life-threatening.
West Yorkshire Police believe the man may have been attacked and robbed shortly before he was found. A spokesperson for the force said: "At 5.32am today, police were called to Stanley View, Armley, where a man had been found seriously injured in the street.

"He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment to injuries that were serious but not considered life threatening. Initial enquiries suggest the victim had been assaulted and robbed by another man shortly before being found."

Detectives from Leeds District Crime Team are carrying out further enquiries to establish the full circumstances.
