Man Utd supporting YouTuber IShowSpeed attacked while doing live stream at FA Cup final

YouTuber and celebrity Manchester United fan IShowSpeed was attacked during the first-half of Saturday's FA Cup final.

The internet star was in attendance at Wembley for the clash between his beloved United and their fierce local rivals Manchester City. The American was also live streaming himself watching the game for his fans to follow along to.

Things started badly for United and Speed, with Ilkay Gundogan having put City ahead after just 13 seconds, a new FA Cup final record. The day went even worse from speed midway through the first period when he was attacked by what appeared to be a City fan.

During a water break, the YouTuber was addressing the camera when the supporter appeared to punch him. Speed turned towards his assilant in shock and anger before his bodyguard leapt in front and tackled the man to the ground.

The man continued to struggle with supporters surrounding the duo in the stands. Speed was left visibly confused by the incident as he shouted back towards the man and other members of the public.

He also turned to the camera and said: "What the f***? Why'd he just f****** punch me bro? Why'd he put his hands on me bro? I didn't even touch him!"

The man was tackled to the ground by IShowSpeed's security (IShowSpeed)

The man then returned to his feet while being restrained by security and other supporters. It is unclear what made him lash out at Speed, with the American later confirming the incident forced him to stop his livestream.

"Shoutout to the FA and my team for letting me come to the FA Cup final and enjoy myself. See my favourite club in England, Manchester United play. But there was an incident that happened in the stream," he said.

"I can't continue to stream because there's been an incident and I got contacted that I can't continue to stream. So guys, I love you all so much, let's hope that United win this game and I appreciate everybody who was on the stream."

Speed's spirits would have been lifted a few minutes after the incident when Bruno Fernandes scored a penalty put United back on level terms. The spot-kick came about in controversial fashion, with Jack Grealish furious he had been adjudged to have handballed a cross.

But Fernandes put that to one side to send Stefan Ortega the wrong way and equalise for the Red Devils. But six miutes in to the second-half, Gundogan scored a second goal for what would prove to be the winner.
