Antony overlooked his defensive duties placed upon him by Erik ten Hag in Sunday's Manchester derby according to reports.
The Brazilian, who became Manchester United 's second most expensive player in history in the summer, has teamed up once again with Ten Hag, whom he worked with at Ajax, but ignored his instructions at the Etihad.
The United boss made it clear, as he has done to Antony since he joined, that he has a job to do defensively as well as going forward. Yet, despite Ten Hag stating it before kick-off, the winger failed to help right-back Diogo Dalot, reports The Sun.
