Man Utd plot spending spree with fresh £100m, Liverpool proceed with £104m striker chase and Leeds United set new price tag

The latest transfer news from the Premier League and around the world on Sunday, June 25.

Man Utd plot £77m swoop

Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag wants to sign Real Madrid and Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois as David De Gea’s replacement, according to reports.

Out-of-contract De Gea is yet to agree a new deal, with his contract expiring at the end of the month, and United are already looking at their options.

Spanish outlet Nacional report that Ten Hag’s United "will tempt" Real Madrid president Florentino Perez with a €90m/£77m offer for "one of his untouchables". The report claims that Reds boss Ten Hag will have an "endless budget" if Sheikh Jassim wins the race to become the club’s new owner.

Courtois, 31, previously had a spell at Chelsea and is under contract until 2026 so Real Madrid can demand a significant fee for him.

United have also been linked with Inter Milan’s Andre Onana.

Ten Hag eyes three major signings with up to £100m

The Manchester United boss is also said to be eyeing three major signings if he raises up to £100m this summer by selling players.

The Daily Mirror say he is willing to listen to offers for current United players Anthony Martial, Donny van de Beek, Fred and Anthony Elanga this summer, while he will also allow club captain Harry Maguire and midfielder Scott McTominay to leave as he looks to reshape his squad.

It is claimed that selling all six players could raise up to £100m to add to his transfer budget, with the manager said to be eyeing a new attacker, midfielder and defender.

Liverpool, Chelsea and Man Utd to hold Osimhen meetings

Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United are set to hold meetings with representatives of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen this week, according to reports.

Journalist Sacha Tavolieri claims that Osimhen will be on the move, and the onus will be on the three clubs to make the best offer.

Osimhen guided Napoli to a first Serie A since Diego Maradona last lifted the trophy in 1990, and finished the season with 26 league goals, making him Serie A’s top scorer. Osimhen is valued at €120m/£104m by Napoli.

New price set for Leeds United keeper

Leeds United have reportedly set a new transfer price for goalkeeper Illan Meslier, dropping their valuation for the Frenchman from £40million to £30m.

There could well be a summer exodus from Elland Road following the club's relegation back to the Championship last month, and the 23-year-old shot-stopper is said to be one of a number of players attracting interest from elsewhere.

Football Insider report that Leeds would have wanted to secure £40m for the keeper's services were they still a Premier League outfit, but £30m is now believed to be what it would take for the club to allow him to depart.

While Meslier's form dipped in the final few months of last season, which saw him replaced for the last four matches by Joel Robles, he is still highly-rated.
