Gary Neville came up with a solution to one of the problems encountered at Old Trafford as Manchester United crashed out of the FA Cup as they lost to Middlesbrough on penalties.
It was a frustrating evening for Ralf Rangnick's side as they twice hit the woodwork, missed a penalty and failed to make the most of their dominance.
United did take the lead after Bruno Fernandes fired over to Jadon Sancho on the left, with the summer signing showing nice footwork before hitting a drive that went in via an Isaiah Jones deflection.
But Middlesbrough equalised in the second half when Matt Crooks slid in to finish after Duncan Watmore handled before crossing for the midfielder to score.
The match was certainly full of talking points, not least the nail-biting penalty shoot-out at the game's conclusion.
It comes as Harry Maguire has praised Ralf Rangnick for addressing one of the club's flaws under previous manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

Gary Neville's solution
Gary Neville had a simple solution as anti-Glazer chants rang out around Old Trafford in the first half of their FA Cup tie against Middlesbrough.
With minutes of the first half remaining a club official announced over the Old Trafford PA system that no food and drink would be served at halftime.
Fans reacted furiously to the announcement as they started chanting: "We want Glazers out, we want Glazers out."
But club legend Gary Neville had a simple solution to the problems at his former side.
Middlesbrough talking points
Middlesbrough knocked United out of the FA Cup after winning the shoot-out 8-7, with Anthony Elanga blazing his decisive penalty over the bar.
The nail-biting shoot-out came after the sides played out a 1-1 draw after extra-time.
The evening had started on a sombre note after the Old Trafford faithful paid their respects to those who tragically died in the Munich Air Disaster.
But things just couldn't go right for United after that, as Ronaldo missed a penalty, VAR failed to rule out Middlesbrough's equaliser and Ralf Rangnick's side set an unwanted record.
