Manchester United allowed Anthony Martial to go out on loan in the January transfer window and the French striker is already impressing his teammates at his new club.
One player who didn't get a move away from the club was Jesse Lingard, who was told he would be allowed to leave but then at the 11th hour the board blocked the decision.
With United in action on Friday night in the FA Cup against Middlesbrough, the fourth round tie would have been the perfect opportunity to give Lingard a run out but interim boss Ralf Rangnick has revealed the reason why the midfielder will not be playing at Old Trafford.
Lingard's unavailability has paved the way for Hannibal Mejbri, who will be a part of the matchday squad.
Here are Mirror Football's latest Manchester United headlines.

Martial impressing in Sevilla
Anthony Martial asked to leave Manchester United in the January transfer window and his wish was granted.
United and Sevilla struck a deal and Martial will see out the remainder of the season in Spain.
Though he has yet to feature in a match, Martial has already made a positive impression on his teammates in training.
"He’s only been here for a few days," Sevilla midfielder Oliver Torres said. "We train here at a very high pace, and he’s realised it. He said ‘there’s a lot of running here’".
Lingard taking time off
Lingard will not feature against Middlesbrough on Friday night after requesting to take some time off.
The England international was told by Rangnick that he would be allowed to leave the club in search of first-team football but the club changed their mind.
Lingard will now stay at the club until his contract runs out in the summer and after a difficult January, feels it is best that he takes a few days away from the club.
Rangnick said: "Jesse asked if we could give him a couple of days off to clear his mind. He will be back in training on Monday and part of the whole squad.”
Mejbri earns promotion
Talented youngster Hannibal Mejbri has become a full-time member of the first-team squad and could feature in the FA Cup.
Mejbri has been away with Tunisia for the African Cup of Nations where he impressed, though he played no part in the knockout defeat to Burkino Faso.
Now back in Manchester, the 19-year-old has been promoted from the youth side to the seniors as a sign of his progression and development this season.
"He will, from now on, regularly train with us and be a regular member of the squad," Rangnick told MUTV. "He will also be part of the squad for tomorrow's cup game."
