Manchester United have two chances to secure their spot in the Champions League next season.
The Red Devils sit fourth in the Premier League and will be aiming to follow Newcastle in booking their place at Europe’s top table. They need just a point from their final two games of the season to finally fight off the challenge of Liverpool.
Erik ten Hag’s men take on Chelsea on Thursday, whilst they then round-off their campaign at home against Fulham by which time they will be hoping to be playing for nothing. Here are the latest headlines coming out of Old Trafford over the past 24 hours...
Ten Hag set for Glazer disagreement
Ten Hag has run out of patience with Anthony Martial at Manchester United as he risks having a run-in with Joel Glazer over his transfer plans.
The Glazers are clearly huge fans of Martial, who joined the club from Monaco in the summer of 2015. The Frenchman has outlasted many high-profile forwards at the club in that timeframe including Memphis Depay, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez.
The Red Devils have prioritised a swoop for a big name forward in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Ajax reunion eyed
On the topic of transfers, Ten Hag could be set to raid his former club Ajax for a third time with Mohammed Kudus heading for the exit this summer.
His agent Jennifer Mendelewitsch has already confirmed that the 22-year-old has rejected a new deal in Amsterdam and could move this summer. Speaking to Dutch outlet De Telegraaf, she said: “I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time.
"He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season there is a lot of interest in Kudus.”
Casemiro helps with Neymar deal
Man United midfielder Casemiro is thought to be helping the Red Devils to try and strike a deal with Paris Saint-Germain for superstar forward Neymar this summer. The former Barcelona man is giving serious thought to the idea of leaving the French capital this summer, six years after his stunning £189million switch from the Camp Nou.
According to L'Equipe, United are not the only side from the English top flight that have expressed an interest in Neymar, but Casmemiro's influence could help Erik ten Hag's side broker any deal. The 31-year-old clearly has no objection to teaming up with his Brazil colleague at club level amid claims he is helping United try to land the superstar's signature.
