Ten Hag green lights Rabiot swoop
Erik ten Hag is ready to press ahead with plans to sign Juventus midfielder Adrien Rabiot - 12 months after Manchester United walked away from a deal due to the Frenchman's excessive salary demands.
According to French outlet L'Equipe, the 28-year-old is due to become a free agent at the end of June after running down his deal at Juventus and has been identified as a priority target by Ten Hag. The Red Devils face competition for his services from Premier League rivals Newcastle though.

Maguire's transfer exit concern
According to the Manchester Evening News, Ten Hag has already decided the first five players who will depart the club this summer. Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are both out of contract and will leave on free transfers.
In the latter's case, it is an example of what looked to be a promising United career fizzling out to nothing. The former England youth international was earmarked as a player with high potential as he made his way through the ranks at Carrington.
Tuanzebe was even picked out as potential captain material by both Harry Maguire - whose own future as club captain is uncertain - and former United manager and forward Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
