Nottingham Forest loanee James Garner has received a good luck message from close friend and Manchester United teammate Brandon Williams ahead of the play-off final.
Garner will be part of the Forest side hoping to win promotion to the Premier League when the Reds take on Huddersfield Town in the Championship play-off final on Sunday (May 29).
The pair, both 21, have struck up a close bond since coming through the Red Devils' youth ranks. Williams enjoyed a regular spot in the United squad during the 2019/20, but could be on his way towards an exit from Old Trafford having recently returned from a loan spell at Norwich this term

Garner has also been sent out on loan to continue his development away from Old Trafford. The 21-year-old midfielder has played an instrumental role under Steve Cooper at Forest, really flourishing since the turn of the new year.
Williams posted a message on Saturday morning to say he was unable to be present at Wembley but sent good luck wishes.
As per the Manchester Evening News, Williams wrote: “Sunday, my bro plays the biggest game of his life. Gutted couldn’t make it but he’s going to make the impossible possible, simple. Love you brother all the best.”
