Manchester United will be operating with close to a full strength side when they host Watford in the Premier League on Saturday, as they aim to strengthen their grip on fourth place.
The Red Devils have won their past two games to move back into the top four whilst creating a four point gap over fifth-placed West Ham United.
And Ralf Rangnick’s men managed to come away unscathed from their UEFA Champions League last-16 first leg tie away to Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, which holds them in good stead heading into the weekend.
However, Rangnick has two injury concerns heading into this tie, although his side should be able to cope and pick up all three points against the Hornets.
Here is all you need to know about the current state of play at Old Trafford and the expected return dates for those currently out injured.
Will Man Utd avoid dropping points against Watford and continue their good run of form? Let us know what you think in the comments section below.
Scott McTominay
Midfielder Scott McTominay was left out of the Man Utd squad that travelled to Spain in midweek due to illness, despite Rangnick being hopeful that he would be able to feature.
It is unclear as to whether or not he will feature against Watford on Saturday, while he may be lacking match fitness as a result should he also miss any extra training sessions due to his condition.
On Wednesday, Rangnick said: "He's ill unfortunately. I spoke with him this afternoon and he's still not feeling well. We had a little bit of hope that he might be available.”
Edinson Cavani
Striker Edinson Cavani continues to miss out with a groin injury which has kept him out of the United squad for the past four matches, with his last appearance coming against Burnley on February 8.
The Uruguayan therefore did not travel with the squad to Madrid on Wednesday and has failed to train for the past two weeks and there is concern that the injury could keep him out for the foreseeable future.
On Tuesday, Rangnick said: "Edi will not make the trip, he didn't train; he has not been training for [a] couple of weeks. He has problems with his groin. As long as he doesn't feel able to fully sprint it doesn't make sense to push him."
