Chelsea could have the chance to finally get their hands on Jadon Sancho, three-years after the Blues reportedly rivalled Manchester United for his signature. The 23-year-old faces an increasingly uncertain future at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils eager to raise funds for several summer signings.
Sancho, who sees his contract expire in 2026, featured 26 times for Erik ten Hag's side in the Premier League last season, directly contributing towards just nine goals. The England international has struggled to impress in the English top-flight despite having prided himself as one of the most exciting wingers in the world during his time at Borussia Dortmund.
While Sancho has an abundance of potential still waiting to be unlocked, Ten Hag seems to have run out of patience and the showman is said to be one of numerous United stars up for sale this summer. According to the Daily Mail, the Red Devils will listen to offers for up to 13 players in a bid to raise around £100million.
The report states that United are hoping to give Ten Hag more spending power this summer, with his budget cut to £120million due to Financial Fair Play restrictions. United have been heavily linked with a move for Mason Mount but, with Chelsea standing by their £70million valuation, talks seem to be at a stalemate.
The Daily Mail outline that the Red Devils are prepared to take a loss of £28million on Sancho, who joined from Dortmund for £73million in 2021. With the Englishman available for around £45million, Chelsea have been given the chance to reignite their interest.
According to Goal in December 2019, the Blues were ready to break their transfer record to sign Sancho. The report states that Chelsea were even 'confident' of beating United to the winger, who joined the Red Devils 18 months later.

Ahead of his move to Old Trafford, Sancho admitted that he was a Blues fan growing up and looked up to Frank Lampard in particular. He told talkSPORT: "I’d probably say Frank Lampard. I was a Chelsea fan growing up, I can’t lie!
"Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard were my favourite players at the time. I just love Frank Lampard and how he played his game; he was so direct and so composed on the ball. I like things like that."
