Manchester United supporters have continued to show their support for Cristiano Ronaldo by queuing for shirts with his name and number on the back - so much so that the club shop has reportedly run out of sevens.
Ronaldo dropped a bombshell earlier in the window, telling the club he wanted to move on. United failed to qualify for the Champions League despite his goals, and there have been links with a number of European clubs, but so far the 37-year-old has yet to find a new club.
The former Juventus star has been holding showdown talks with manager Erik ten Hag - and others - as he looks to make progress on his future. However, there appears to be no doubt regarding what the United faithful make of last season's top scorer.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the printing hut at United's club shop has run out of Ronaldo's squad number. The Portugal star smashed shirt sale records last summer when he returned to Old Trafford after a spell with Juventus, and it appears things have not been slowing down.
Back in 2018, the frontman also set the record for most shirts sold in one day in Italy. However, according to reports earlier this week, that record has now been broken by former Juve man Paulo Dybala following his move to Roma.
With more than a month left of the transfer window, there may still be concerns that Ronaldo is playing his football elsewhere by September 1. However, the interest in personalised shirts speaks to the popularity of a man still scoring goals in his second stint with the club.

The latest news comes on a day where Ronaldo's future options appear to be diminishing. Atletico Madrid had been among the clubs linked with a move, but president Enrique Cerezo has appeared to pour cold water on suggestions the United man will move to the Spanish capita.
"I don't know who invented the story of [ Ronaldo], but it's practically impossible for him to come to Atlético de Madrid," Cerezo said. His comments come after Bayern Munich similarly distanced themselves from a potential move, with sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic saying a move "was and is not a topic for us".
Ronaldo has not been involved in United's pre-season programme, with family reasons keeping him from joining the rest of the squad for a number of friendly matches in Thailand and Australia. United still have two more friendlies to go, against Atletico Madrid and Rayo Vallecano, before beginning their Premier League campaign at home to Brighton & Hove Albion in August.
