United are heading in the right direction, but the Glazers' tortuous sale of the club could scupper Ten Hag's transfer ambitions.
The 53-year-old wants key signings including a striker, a centre-back, a midfielder and a new goalkeeper, though United will also have to sell to raise funds for a summer spree.
