Manchester United will reportedly trigger a clause in Marcus Rashford's contract if they fail to agree an extension with the forward.
Rashford's existing deal expires in June, but the Red Devils have the option to extend it by a further 12 months. The 24-year-old's future remains unclear following his difficult 2021/22 campaign, scoring just five goals in all competitions to lose his England place.
Rashford has rediscovered his form under Erik ten Hag, who succeeded Ralf Rangnick as United manager in the summer. He's scored three goals and provided two assists in six Premier League games this term to stake a claim for a spot in England's World Cup squad.
