Manchester United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe will not interfere in Ruben Amorim’s handling of Marcus Rashford’s situation at the club.
The 27-year-old admitted last week he’s ‘ready for a new challenge’ away from United.
Rashford said in an interview with Henry Winter: “For me, personally, I think I’m ready for a new challenge and the next steps. When I leave it’s going to be “no hard feelings”. You’re not going to have any negative comments from me about Manchester United. That’s me as a person.”
During this time, Rashford has been left out of three straight matchday squads by Amorim.

Rashford’s Manchester United situation now looks bleak with his omissions from matchday squads.
The striker has been left at home for the Manchester derby win, United’s Carabao Cup exit at the hands of Tottenham and their most recent 3-0 humbling by Bournemouth at the weekend.
And with the January transfer window just days away from opening, United could now listen to offers for the academy graduate.
Sir Jim Ratcliffe Will Not Put Ruben Amorim Under Pressure To Pick Marcus Rashford
While United will reportedly be open to offers in the region of £40million, the club’s higher-ups have said they will not pressure Amorim to select or omit Marcus Rashford from future squads.
That is according to a report from the Telegraph, who claim Sir Jim Ratcliffe and football chief executive officer Omar Berrada have left Amorim to handle the situation.
Amorim has previously insisted that all decisions over team selections are his own.

“It’s my decision and it always will be,” he said before the Bournemouth defeat. “It is selection. I want to see the best of my players and I try different things with different players. That’s my focus.”
United May Struggle To Offload Rashford Next Month
Before his exit statement, there had already been reports that the Red Devils were willing to sell their academy star.
However, with Rashford reportedly earning around £325,000 a week, United may struggle to get him off their books.
Reports have linked with him an exit to a number of clubs. The latest of which is Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
