Cristiano Ronaldo added a new record to his ever-impressive resume with three goals against Norwich City.
But Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has pointed out a major problem Manchester United have in conceding goals, one that no other team in the Premier League struggles with. The Red Devils went two-nil up against Norwich before being pegged back 2-2 before Ronaldo scored his third and final goal of the afternoon for the win.
Before the game, United fans staged a protest at Old Trafford.

Ronaldo continues record
Ronaldo's scored his second hat-trick for Manchester United this season on Saturday.
Ronaldo dragged United to three points against the Premier League's bottom club, having given his side a 2-0 lead. Norwich pegged a goal back on the stroke of half-time and then came out for the second half on top, scoring quickly to draw level. Ronaldo's free-kick not only secured his hat-trick and the win but another record as well.
His three goals in the game took his tally for the season to 21, making it 17 consecutive seasons where the striker has more than 20 goals in all competitions.
United's defending problem
Rangnick has highlighted a major issue his side have in defence.
United were comfortably beating Norwich City 2-0 before goals either side of the break drew the away side level. The manner in which United capitulated has been an issue all season, especially the way the Canaries found the back of the net with relative ease. Rangnick admitted he wasn't happy with his team's defending.
Rangnick said: "They [the goals conceded] were too easy, we are the only team in the league who concedes goals like this."
Fans protest against owners
Manchester United supporters used the home game against Norwich City to stage a peaceful protest against the club's owners.
Thousands marched upon Old Trafford with placards and flares, calling for the owners, the Glazers, to leave the club. The protest was led by The 1958 supporters group, who called for those standing alongside them to stay outside the stadium for the first 17 minutes of the game - one minute for every year the Glazers have been in control.
There was also a protest on Friday at United's Carrington training ground.
