Arsenal are planning ways to strengthen their forward line in the summer as Mikel Arteta continues to shape his dream squad. However, in what would be a surprise transfer, Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is the latest frontman to be touted with a transfer to the Emirates.
The Englishman has struggled in the Premier League so far this season, finding the net just four times for his club. His poor form has sparked rumours that he could be ready for a fresh start, and Arsenal have emerged as a potential destination.
According to the Mirror, Arsenal could make a surprise offer for Rashford. It's been a rather frustrating year for the England international on the pitch, who has only made 10 league appearances for the Red Devils, with interim manager Ralf Rangnick favouring both Jadon Sancho and Anthony Elanga ahead of him. The Gunners could take advantage of that plight and look to offer Rashford a fresh opportunity.

However, despite his recent times on the sideline, Manchester United and Ralf Rangnick have made the decision to start him against Everton in the Premier League this afternoon. It gives Rashford the opportunity to impress ahead of the potential arrival of Ajax manager, Erik ten Hag.
As reported by our colleagues at Manchester Evening News, Ajax are expecting Ten Hag to leave the club and take over at Old Trafford ahead of the start of next season. He was interviewed for the job just over a fortnight ago and is the club's preferred candidate to take charge this summer. The Dutchman will be tasked with overseeing a summer of transformation if all goes to plan and he secures the job, meaning he will have the task of overseeing the beginning of a new dawn.
Whether he'd like to keep Rashford at Old Trafford remains to be seen, but should he wish for a new challenge in the summer, Arsenal may be worthy suitors.
