Man United legend Roy Keane gives surprising verdict on Sir Alex Ferguson vs Pep Guardiola debate

Alex Ferguson Roy Keane Pep Guardiola

Manchester United legend Roy Keane thinks Pep Guardiola can surpass Sir Alex Ferguson as the greatest manager of all time.

The balance of power in Manchester has gradually shifted over the last decade. United have won just three trophies since Ferguson's departure in 2013 while City have won multiple major honours, which they look set to add to this season.

Guardiola's side are fighting Liverpool for the Premier League title and they remain in the Champions League. There has always been debate about the greatest manager of all time and United legend Ferguson is widely considered to deserve that title, however, with every trophy that Guardiola wins, calls that suggest the Catalan is more accomplished than Ferguson become louder.
