Interim manager Ralf Rangnick has already told Manchester City about the three main positions Paul Pogba can operate in amid stunning reports Pep Guardiola wants to sign him during the summer transfer window. Pogba is heading into the final weeks of his Manchester United contract and is set to leave Old Trafford for a second time.
A decade on from his initial move to Juventus - also as a free agent - Pogba will depart once again with Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Juve and City understood to be in the market for his signature. Reported interest from City has also been circulating for 12 hours or so after initial reports from the Daily Mail.
Needless to say that Pogba bombshell has got fans from both sides of this famous footballing city talking. But what would it mean for Guardiola and City moving forward if the previously unthinkable does happen?

Of course, City signed Jack Grealish for £100million last summer and Erling Haaland is widely expected to follow suit when the market reopens. Guardiola is, meanwhile, well-stocked in central areas with Rodri, Bernardo Silva, Kevin De Bruyne and Ilkay Gundogan among the would-be competition for Pogba.
Positions have been a talking point for Pogba over recent weeks as he questioned his role at United during the March international break. Aside from various tasks in the engine room, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also deployed him wide on the left at times before he was sacked.
Responding to those comments last month, interim manager Rangnick said: "I don't think it makes sense to interpret or just judge what he has maybe said in an interview, it doesn't make sense. That's something you can do if you want. For me, it's only important to judge him.
"I heard he said he had played in different positions in the last couple of weeks. Since the game against West Ham on January 22, we have lost three strikers - Anthony Martial, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani - who is injured again, unfortunately, and will be out for the next couple of weeks."
Rangnick added: "On top of that, if Paul was still injured himself, then players like Bruno [Fernandes] against Tottenham or Scott McTominay are missing, then, of course, somebody else has to play in a different tole. And if this is somebody like Paul, who is flexible and can play 6, 8, and even 10, then this is a normal thing."
