Police in Cardiff have arrested and charged a man with cannabis production following the discovery of a large cannabis factory.
Officers were called to Diana Street in Cardiff where they located and dismantled a large cannabis factory. While at the property the suspect tried to flee but a dog unit was in attendance and thanks to police dog Solo he quickly gave up and was detained.
While at the scene officers discovered the factory was operating on bypassed electric, officers made the scene safe before leaving.

South Wales Police Dogs and Horses took to Twitter at 10.18pm last night to share an update and images from the scene. They tweeted: "1 man arrested & charged with Cannabis production by the @SWPCardiff Organised Crime Team. A large Cannabis factory was located & dismantled on Diana St. The suspect tried to run, but came face to face with PD Solo & gave up quickly. Bypassed electric's made safe ^538. Occ*281311"
