A young man is set to undergo a life-altering operation just two days before his 21st birthday that will see him lose both his lower legs.
Levi Dewey is due to have the surgery next Tuesday after contracting a form of flu, pneumonia and later sepsis.
His family say doctors told them he was one of the sickest patients they had at the time, and Levi was given a 30% chance of survival.
