Man threw fire extinguisher through Easington pharmacy cabinet after delay in receiving medication

A man caused damage worth thousands of pounds to repair after throwing a fire extinguisher through a pharmacy cabinet after a delay in receiving his medication.

Stuart Holloway caused damage worth "£9,000" to repair after smashing a cabinet at Boots pharmacy in Easington Colliery on February 23 after he was told his prescription wasn't ready. Later that day, the 35-year-old handed himself in at a police station and was found in possession of a hunting knife.

After being released under investigation, Holloway was again back in trouble with police five days later after he was seen playing with a cut-throat razor in a doctor's surgery. Then, the next month, he was again arrested after brandishing a knife on a bus after he "lost his temper" at a group of girls.
