A man has been taken to hospital following an incident of suspected criminal damage in County Durham.
Emergency services attended the scene in Horden near Peterlee shortly after 11.30am. Police and paramedics found a man with an injury to his arm.

The man was taken by road to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough for further treatment. Enquiries into the incident remain ongoing. A fire engine was also spotted at the scene.
A spokeswoman for Durham Constabulary said: “We were called to reports of suspected criminal damage in 13 th Street, Horden, shortly after 11.30am today.
“A man was taken to hospital with an injury to his arm.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
A North East Ambulance spokesperson said: "We were called to reports of a man injured in Eleventh Street, Peterlee, at 11.40am today. We dispatched one ambulance crew and a specialist paramedic, and requested support from Great North Air Ambulance Service. On patient was taken by road to James Cook Hospital for further treatment."
