A man was raced to hospital after an alleged 'stabbing' during a reported attempted robbery at a Scots shop.
Police descended onto a business premises on Glenconnor Drive in Dundee after receiving a report of a serious assault and attempted robbery at 8.30am today. Medics attended and on arrival, a 41-year-old man was found seriously injured.
He was rushed to Ninewells Hospital for treatment, where he has since been discharged. A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.
Police say inquiries remain ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called around 8.30am on Saturday, April 8, to a report of a serious assault and an attempted robbery at a business premises on Glenconnor Drive, Dundee. A 41-year-old man was taken by ambulance to Ninewells Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
“An 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries remain ongoing.”
