POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries in a popular Glasgow west end spot.
The man was taken to hospital after suffering serious injuries in an attack on Ashton Lane, Glasgow in the early hours of Thursday morning.
The incident occurred at 1.15am on Thursday December 28.
Emergency services attended the scene and a 45-year-old man was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
Police Scotland said officers are following a positive line of enquiry after the incident on the busy west end backstreet near Byres Road.
Detective Sergeant Alastair Taylor said: "Enquiries are ongoing and we are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident."
