A man was taken to hospital following a large emergency response in south Bristol. An air ambulance and a hazard response team were deployed to an incident on Sunday afternoon.
Witnesses reported seeing multiple police cars and an ambulance racing to the area. Emergency crews were called to the Ashton Rise area of Bristol at 4.20pm.
A double-crewed land ambulance, the Specialist HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) and an air ambulance all raced to the scene. Avon and Somerset Police has now revealed this incident was a concern for welfare.

A spokesman said: "It was a concern for welfare incident in which a man was taken to hospital. There is no ongoing police investigation."
A resident living nearby said the air ambulance was on the ground for around 30 minutes before taking off again. The ambulance service confirmed in a statement that a patient was taken to hospital by land ambulance.
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust said: “We received a call at 1620 regarding an incident in the Ashton Rise area of Bristol.
"A number of resources were sent including a Double Crewed Ambulance, Specialist HART (Hazardous Area Response Team) and an air ambulance. A patient was conveyed to hospital by land ambulance.”
