A Southport man suffered a "prolonged assault" in the Lake District.
The 42-year-old man was attacked in Bowness-on-Windermere last month, with Cumbria Police appealing for information again. CCTV has now been released as part of the investigation into the man's assault that happened shortly after midnight on Wednesday, February 16.
During the assault, the Merseyside man suffered serious facial injuries after a prolonged assault by two men. Officers have now revealed they would like to speak to the men pictured in the CCTV footage as part of the investigation.

A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Police are releasing CCTV images as part of an investigation into a serious assault which occurred in Bowness on Windermere. The incident occurred on Wednesday 16 February shortly after midnight.
"During the incident, a 42-year-old man from Southport suffered serious facial injuries following a prolonged assault by two men. Officers would like to speak with the men pictured in the supplied images as part of the investigation.
