A man gloated as he strangled his wife while she was speaking to her brother on a Zoom call. He reacted after he heard her mention the idea of divorce, a court heard.
Dony Varghese, a taxi driver, pulled a towel tight around her neck before saying: "Look what I can do to your sister."
Varghese, 37, had strangled his wife and mother of his two children, to whom he had been married for a decade, twice in two days. The first happened on May 13 in a shop, triggered by jealous over his wife having friends.
