A pubgoer was slashed with a suspected knife in a violent rampage after others were attacked nearby.
The violent scenes unfolded at around 12.50pm this afternoon (Wednesday) on Altcross Road in Croxteth, when it was reported a man had assaulted a woman outside Croxteth Family Health Centre before punching another man nearby.
A short time later, at around 1.20pm, Merseyside Police said it was further reported that a man had entered the Lobster Hotel pub on Moss Way, made several threats to customers and slashed a man with a suspected knife.

No serious injuries have been reported from these incidents, police said. One parent told the ECHO they had received a message from a local school warning them not to let their children walk home alone.
A 44-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of a bladed article after police attended an address on Altcross Road this afternoon.
