Man stabbed to death in drunken row in Dublin as garda investigation intensifies

A man was stabbed in a drunken row before he died in hospital over the weekend, we can reveal.

Gardai were last night waiting on postmortem results following the death of the 60-year-old in the early hours of Saturday morning in West Dublin.

But investigators are following a definite line of inquiry in relation to the fatal attack, which may be upgraded to murder.
