A man is in hospital after he was chased from a pub and had a chemical substance sprayed in his eyes in south London.
Police were called shortly after 4pm on Wednesday to reports of a man being chased by a group of men from a pub in Chatterton Road in Bromley.
Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service and found a man, believed to be aged in his 40s, suffering injuries from a chemical substance which had been sprayed in his eyes.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment where he remains.
The Metropolitan Police said his condition is not life-threatening and that enquiries continue.
A crime scene has now been removed.
