According to Senior Police officials, the victim — identified as Nitin, a resident of Luksar village and son of Phire — was allegedly shot by Sachin and his associates following a long‑standing rivalry between the two parties.
Police said that CCTV footage shared with investigators appears to show several men forcibly dragging Nitin to the ground before shooting him multiple times. The video also captures a woman stepping out of a nearby house, while one of the accused threatens the victim with a firearm.
Nitin was rushed to a nearby hospital with grievous injuries, but doctors later declared him dead.
Senior officers and additional police personnel reached the scene soon after the incident. Authorities said the law and order situation is under control and that steps are being taken to apprehend all those involved in the attack.
An investigation has been launched to identify and trace the suspects.
