Man shares everyday item 'hack' that can help cut energy bills

With the price cap set to increase to staggering amounts yet again this October people are keen to find new ways to save money on energy bills.

One man has taken to TikTok to share an easy heating "hack" that only costs 68p but could save you hundreds. Carl Alexis, from Swansea, heard the tip from his grandmother years ago which involves a single roll of tin foil.

He shared a video on the social media app, showing him using a layer of tin foil between the radiator and wall. The idea of doing this is so that the foil reflects heat back into a room, meaning that you save on energy, reported The Mirror.
