A man has been seriously injured as his flat was ransacked by three men in a home invasion in Sydney's southwest.
Emergency services were called to the home in Georges Hall just before 4am on Monday, with police being told three men had forced entry into a granny flat at the rear of a house.
The intruders confronted the 35-year-old male occupant before assaulting him and ransacking the home.
The man was taken to Liverpool hospital in a serious condition.
