A man who was assaulted in a violent street attack was left with 'serious injuries' and rushed to hospital for treatment.
The 21-year-old victim was assaulted during an incident outside Scholar's Gate, in East Kilbride, shortly after 7pm on Sunday, April 30.
He was set on by a group of men after becoming 'involved in a disturbance'. The man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.

Police are now urging witnesses to come forward as part of their enquiries into the assault.
Detective Constable Frank Donaghy said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing. We understand there were other people in the area around the time who may have witnessed this disturbance.
“We would urge anyone who may have information to get in touch.
