Police in Paisley are appealing for information from the public after a man was seriously assaulted at a takeaway restaurant.
The assault took place on Friday, December 9 at around 11.15pm on Causeyside Street and the 55-year-old victim was left with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is described as a white man, aged between 35-45 and around 6ft. He was of stocky build, with short dark receding hair and stubble. He was wearing a navy blue t-shirt and jeans.

Detective Constable Malcolm Clark, from Paisley CID, said: “Our enquiries have established that the area was quite busy at the time of the attack and the victim was spoken to by numerous members of the public.
“We are appealing to anyone with information on the incident to contact police on 101, quoting incident 1297 of 10 December. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
