Man sentenced to life at Glasgow High Court after being convicted of Rutherglen murder

Glasgow David Black Raymond Bell

A 36-year-old man has been convicted of murder following the death of 40-year-old David Black from Rutherglen.

Raymond Bell was previously charged with the attempted murder of Mr Black in 2014, however appeared in the High Court in Glasgow today (January 26) charged with his murder.

He was sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum of 18 years.
