Man savaged for list of Tinder demands - from earning £85k to having no male pals

A picky man has been savaged after his list of Tinder "requirements" were shared online.

The list of demands include the girl having to have no male friends, earning £85,000 a year or more and being aged 22 or younger.

The list was shared on Twitter by a sceptical woman who spotted the list on the popular dating app.

"Paul" from Austin, Texas, only provided a little information about himself including that he's 27, 6'4" and a professional YouTuber.

He also describes himself as "open minded and fun".

But the list of things he needs in a woman, titled 'REQUIREMENTS' is a lot longer.

According to Paul the right woman for him has to make $100k (£85,000) or more, have no male friends and be under 22.

She also has to be available six days a week, have moderate politics and have less than five previous partners.

A screenshot of his Tinder profile was posted by popular Twitter personality Aubry Andrews.

She quipped: "Guys: women's standards are way too high on dating apps.

"Women: opens app uh-huh."

People were quick to savage the hopeful romantic.

One said: "Bless his cotton no girl will be touching him with a ten foot barge pole socks"

Another joked: “Straight man.” Thanks Paul, but we knew."

Others responded with a healthy dose of sarcasm, saying: "Paul can't be bothered right now. He's busy fighting off all the criteria-worthy chicks lusting for him. I bet."

Eagle-eyed Twitter users were quick to focus on the completely unrealistic expectations, from the $100k salary under the age of 22 to his height and weight requirements.

A user said: "Over 5’9” and less than 125 lbs is PREPOSTEROUS. As is everything else on that list."

Another said: "Under 22, earning 100k by working only 1 day a week? Sir, what are you envisioning?"

Paul was rightly savaged for his demands but many people approach dating apps with 'controversial' demands.

Social media user Pia Blossom, admitted they don't offer to contribute on the first date - despite seemingly a sore subject.

The TikTok star addressed that whilst she understand that her statement may seem "controversial", she believed that she had a reasonable explanation for the matter.

"I don't offer to split the bill on a first date," she said straight off the bat.

She continued: "I'm honestly quite a princess and my best relationships are with men who like going out with girls who are princesses.

"So, if that's what I'm looking for - and I've made that clear prior to going on a date - why would I then go on a date and then make a not genuine offer to split the bill?"
