Man said he 'won't let dog die' despite £20K vet bills

A dog owner said he would "sell his house" to keep his pet alive as he faces vet bills of up to £20,000.

Jaxon Feeley's Weimaraner Rambo fell ill when she went into hypovolemic shock. This is an emergency condition in which severe blood or other fluid loss makes the heart unable to pump enough blood to the body, reports the Daily Express.

Rambo vomited more than 30 times throughout the night on January 20 and was rushed to the emergency vet in the morning. Jaxon said his dog also developed gastroenteritis which caused Rambo to deteriorate quickly and become seriously unwell.
