A man is searching for a couple after finding a photograph of their wedding day in a book.
Mike Parker had been in Hay-on-Wye in Wales when he stepped into a second-hand book store. After idly searching the shelves he stumbled upon something that caught his eye 'A Guide to Monmouthshire' by Arthur Mee.
After taking the book home he had a cursory flick through before putting it on his shelf. There it sat for the next two months before Mike picked it up again and in the middle of the book, he found the photo of a married couple.

After digging for clues Mike noticed that the book was filled with stamps from the Atkinson Central Library in Southport. Speaking to the ECHO he said: "They are a very fine looking couple grinning beautifully and it looks like it is from the 1970s I remember my uncle having a haircut like that.
"It just dropped out of the book and onto my lap and that was when I decided I wanted to find them and I'm intrigued to find out what the story is behind the photograph."
Mike took to social media and posted the photo on Twitter in the hopes that somebody would come forward and identify the couple. Unfortunately, nobody has come forward yet but Mike is undeterred and wants to get to the bottom of the mystery.
Mike who lives in Wales said: "I'm intrigued to know the story of their lives, they are a fine-looking couple but they would probably be in their 70s now.
"I would love to know what happened to them but we are going back a long time it would just be great to know who they are."
