Man's rage after being denied window seat 'he deserved' on plane

A man has shared his frustrations after he was refused a window seat on a plane.

An anonymous Reddit user took to the site to vent after he claimed an airline mixed up his booking. The passenger claimed he had attempted to book a window seat for his journey but when he made his way on board, his preference was not honoured.

The passenger in the window seat then refused to move which led to the man complaining to staff while getting an "angry look" from fellow flyers.

Taking to Reddit to complain about his experience, the unnamed man said: "I'm on a plane but I wanted a window seat and so I asked the person who had the window seat, whether I could have it. He wouldn't allow it and I couldn't believe it, I tried paying for a window seat but something went wrong, and I had a seat which I didn't want.

"It was the company's fault for messing up the seating situation, and so I thought I deserve a window seat. I complained and the guy sitting next to the window wouldn't budge, and I know other people in the aeroplane were giving me serious angry looks but I didn't give a s***.

"I started complaining to the plane stewards and stewardesses, and they were just telling me to sit down at my seat. I kept complaining about how it was the company's fault for messing up the seating system, as I booked a window seat.

"They didn't give a s*** and I kept demanding that they give me the window seat of my choice and I can tell everyone on the aeroplane preferred a baby crying compared to a grown man complaining."

The man doubled down and insisted that he wanted a window seat as they are the "best seats", explaining that the only downside to them was when you need to use the toilet and disturb the whole row, the Mirror reported.

But the man next to him wouldn't budge - so the seething passenger thought the best thing to do was to keep asking until the bloke became "angry."

He added: "I kept asking the guy whether he could just swap seats with me and he kept saying no, and so I kept asking. At one point he became angry and I just started smiling. Then I kept on asking whether he could just swap seats with me consistently, and I knew I was getting to him.
