The search for a man suspected of being involved in the stabbing of a woman in Melbourne has come to an end after police found a body during their investigations into the incident.
At about 1am on Wednesday, an 18-year-old Kew woman was stabbed outside a Miller Grove address after a night out with friends. Police say she was confronted by a man, who was known to her, before she was stabbed.
The woman was then rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, with police launching a manhunt for an 18-year-old Camberwell man.
Police reported that the woman is now in a stable condition.

Hours later, at about 6.15am, a triple zero was called and local police discovered the body of a man in Antwerp.
The man’s death is not being treated as suspicious, and the police are preparing a report for the coroner.
Authorities say the investigation into the woman’s stabbing has concluded and that no suspects or persons of interest remain.
