Gardai have stood down their search for a missing man in Kerry after the discovery of a body on Thursday.
The man, 53-year-old Con Donoghue, was missing for three days.
He vanished from home at Tralee, County Kerry on Monday, October 24.
Gardai made a number efforts to locate the missing Kerry man as family and concerns grew for his safety.
Gardai confirmed on Thursday that after a body was found in the Millennium Walkway area of Tralee this morning morning, the search for Con has been stood down.
A Garda spokesperson said: "Following the discovery of a man's body in the Millennium Walkway area of Tralee earlier this morning, the missing person appeal for Con Donoghue, 53 years, has been stood down.
"We would like to thank the public and media for their assistance in this matter."
