A man has been rushed to hospital after being 'stabbed' in Dundee.
Police have launched a probe after the incident happened on New Inn Entry in the city at around 6.15am on Saturday.
Ambulance crews attended and the 44-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
It's understood the man suffered stab wounds. His condition is currently unknown.
Officers have cordoned off the scene while they carry out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 6.15am on Saturday, March 25, police received a report a man had been assaulted in New Inn Entry, Dundee.
"Officers attended and the 44-year-old man was taken to hospital. Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances."
